Royal College of Surgeons
The Royal College of Surgeons of England, often referred to simply as the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS), is an independent professional body and registered charity committed to promoting and advancing the highest standards of surgical care for patients, regulating surgery, including dentistry, in England and Wales.
The College, set up by Royal Charter in 1800, has a unique heritage, with the Hunterian Museum open to the public in London.
How to get there
The nearest Tube station is Holborn (Piccadilly and Central Lines). It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station to the museum.
Temple (District and Circle Lines) and Charing Cross stations (Northern and Bakerloo Lines) are a 10-20 minute walk or short taxi ride away.
